Late 19th century, c. 1870 coin silver teaspoon. The spoon features fancy later fiddle tipt design with an engraving: of 'Harriette'. Well marked for the retailer Samuel S Newton of Cornwall & Winchester, CT. Patina and satin finish are perfect and not overpolished. Very conservatively, there are typical signs of use commensurate with age, subtle areas of dark patina. Gauge is medium.
