Stunning 19th century handmade Norwegian solid silver serving spoon. Fully hallmarked as shown with the rare 13 1/4 loth silver standard, the date 1859 ,and twice with a maker mark of 'CH' (not yet identified). Normal historic surface scratching, but no notable dings. A nice piece of Scandinavian silver in the traditional style with an extremely elegant shell and thread terminal. On the back of the handle terminal, there is a typical pinprick monogram of 'AMK'
