Stunning antique provincial Louis XV Lille France sterling silver heavy and Large matching fork and tablespoon set (8/5), by the master-silversmith Adrien-Joseph Lemesre. Gorgeous wavy fiddle pattern with a classic French profile (upturned terminals and light central spine) and a very heavy gauge. Guarantee mark for Lille, 1766, and maker mark. Personalized with "Bourgois". Weight is 117 grams. 8" (spoon). Rare maker. Condition is very good. Repairs to fork tines (subtle).
